Community Support Specialist

We are a mobile F2P game developer with 20 years of experience and a team of over 100 people, divided into two independent studios: Adventure and RPG. 

Our RPG team is working on Void Hunters — a tactical RPG focused on deep systems, squad progression, and meaningful player decisions. The project combines turn-based combat with extensive progression systems and mechanics centered around building synergies between heroes. We are currently looking for a person to support us in the role of: 

Community Support Specialist

 

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities: 

  • Communicating with players on Discord, Steam, and social media platforms (answering questions, moderation, community engagement).
  • Supporting players in resolving game-related issues (player support).
  • Monitoring community sentiment, responding to crisis situations, gathering player feedback, and maintaining a positive atmosphere within the community.
  • Passing the most important reports and issues on to the development team.
  • Creating community content in the form of updates/posts.
  • Preparing simple marketing materials based on available templates.

 

Requirements: 

  • Very good command of English (minimum C1) - daily written communication with players.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with gaming communities (Discord, forums, social media), not necessarily in a commercial setting! 
  • Availability to work hours aligned with American time zones (expected hours per week: 30–45, 6–8 hours scheduled between 18:00 and 07:00 (UTC+02:00)). 
  • Ability to communicate in an empathetic, professional manner tailored to players. 
  • Interest in games (nice to have: RPGs, dark fantasy, hero collectors) and understanding of gaming community dynamics. 
  • Ability to solve user problems and respond in crisis situations. 
  • Independence and good work organization. 
     

Nice to have: 

  • Experience running MMO guilds and alliances. 
  • Previous role in PR, Marketing or CM. 
  • Experience being a streamer/spokesperson.
